On your way from Mendooran to Dunedoo one of the iconic stops is Cobbora Station for brunch. At 25 km from Dunedoo it is just the right time to stop.  Popular with larger groups this is your chance as a solo cyclists or a small group to enjoy the delights of a farm hosted 'brunch'.  Then well rested push on to Dunedoo. Come to think of it you might want to cycle down from Mendooran and back - the food is worth every pedal stroke.
