Directional Sign

The Central West Cycle Trail recently have been granted approval to install finger post signs to all entries and exits to towns and villages within the Dubbo Regional Council area.  We are hopeful of the other two council areas traversed by the CWC coming on board soon. 

When completed these signs, with the international bicycle symbol, will give the trail an easily recognised presence to both locals and travellers alike.  The committee will be installing them on existing street signage posts and the signs are made strictly to Australian Standards for bicycle signage.

A spring 2023 cycle group from the Southern Highlands (pictured) thought it was a valuable initiative and passed the hat around to sponsor the first sign to go up, the Wellington sign out of Geurie.

Each sign costs $150 and will be installed as we get funds to pay for them.  Donations for signage are in amounts of $25, so if you want to donate for a complete sign buy 6 units of donation. If you buy a whole sign email us at info@cyclewestcycletrail.com.au and we will give that a plug to encourage others to do so, and tell you where your sign has been installed.
